I have two car problems here and i seriously need advice?

first problem:my car was fine but i got a flat tyre a few days ago and after i fixed the flat,my car started to shake while i drive,as soon as i go over 40 it starts to shake.what could be wrong?

second problem:i noticed that these days when i go over small holes/bumps on the road while driving i really feel the impact inside the car.my car was never like this but these days after going through a rough area on the road,i really feel the impact inside the car.could it be that my shocks are worn out?

PS:my car is a honda accord 1999 and it is lowered a few inches.I have two car problems here and i seriously need advice?
First, when you have something pierce your tire it has to go through the steel belts. Some times the item going into the tire can cut a cord in the belt and air can get in between the various layers and separate them. The result is what they call a slipped belt. You need to have it checked now. I would also make sure that the wheel was bolted back on correctly and not wobbling as it turns. Take it to any good tire store and they can look at the tire and locate the slipped belt in most cases by looking and feeling around the tread. Second, if you are feeling the bump inside the vehicle you might be bottoming out since the vehicle has been lowered. It could be a broken or loose shock. Best bet is to look underneath when you have it put up on a rack at your local tire store. This way you can inspect all of the suspension components. Good luck.I have two car problems here and i seriously need advice?
You might have to balance the tire
what is a tyre? and your car is lowered a few inches? are you a mexican or a puerto rican? geez man!
duh it's lowered, that will give you a rough ride any day. The other problem is you might need a tire balance. They may have taken the tire off patched it and never balance it again. Take it back and make them do it right
when tire went flat prob broke steel bands in it and it may be out of balance or have a bent rim
You could try calling Car Talk on PBS for their expert opinion. But, did you fully tighten the lug nuts for the spare tire/wheel, and is the newly installed spare at the recommened psi?
I got one question. How did you fix the flat? Yourself? Let me guess, a can of Fix-a-Flat. You know what that is? It is a compound that hardens like oatmeal inside your tire, pushing its way out of the leak to dry and seal the hole. If you used this, you now have a big mass of liquid and hardened material inside your tire that is spinning around with the rotation. This will cause a severe shake, like a brick inside your tire. Have it cleaned out and properly repaired at a tire shop.
ask the car guys-- npr (national public radio) CHECK THE NPR WEBSITE AND REDIRECT YOUR QUESTION TO THEM --- THEY ARE EXCELLENT AT THESE KINDS OF ISSUES...
First) Wheels sounds like it needs wheel balancing and alignment; its advisable to do this everytime you fix your tires because most new tire's centre of gravity is different and may cause shaking.

Secondly) Your coil/shock may need changing.

Go under your car to see if theres any oil leaks from your shocks.

Now, push both hands on your bonnet and shake your car to see if it bounces too much or too little....

If oil leaks = change shocks.

if bounces too much = change shocks.

If not = above two, your tires may not be inflated properly.
Possible Reasons

Problem 1) Its lowered

Problem 2) Maybe a bad tire

Problem 3) Shocks may be worn

Problem 4) Check the wheel bearings

Problem 5) Check the Tie Rods (Could have broke one)

Problem 6) Make sure the lug nuts are on tight
since you lowered it your on your own
Before you go spending alot try a simpler start to resolving the problems. After you fixed the flat did you bother to check the air pressure in all four tires? When tires are not balanced they can lead to shaking in the steering wheel. If possible check inside the rims to see if the weights are still present, balancing weights. When one is dislodged you can see a clean spot or a area that looks like epoxy residue. And as far the sensation of feeling the ';road'; more, to be honest it could be a mental thing, you're fixated on the tires so you notice things more, it happens, or again it could be air pressure, If your TV had problems in picture quality you wouldn't run out and buy a new TV you'd mess around with the cables and antennae first. Good Luck if it turns out you need new tires send me an email I got a little advice that may save you hundreds it works for me every time.
always use a torque wrench to tighten lug nuts check your owners manual for specs, yes unless you replaced your shocks to pair up with the lowering kit you will damadge them to the point of not working ,never lower your car unless a professional does it with the right parts, shocks and tire combination
the impact problem is the shocks.
Bad tire, Loose Lug nuts......oh, and if the wrong tire was put back on it, it could be hitting the body!
sounds like the belt in your tire is bad

you might be in need of new tires
