Any good advice for a 27 year old looking at becoming a truck driver?

Im Married No kids. Been in the Army for 6 years.Any good advice for a 27 year old looking at becoming a truck driver?
Im a truckers daughter, Its a community of its own if your truly wanting to be a truck driver notify a local company and ask them what truck driving school they reccomend.

Do you have your CDL's?

Also, beware of company's wanting you to haul oversized loads.. They pay good money but will run you ragged, because there are some states you cant travel thru with these types of loads.

It's a solitary lifestyle, with no kids has your wife thought about joining you in this venture, I know several driving teams that are husband and wife..

Good luck in your venture, and thanks for serving our country for the past 6 years.Any good advice for a 27 year old looking at becoming a truck driver?
Drive safely and beware of serial killer hitchhikers.
tats the one nice job but do care for you wife and you wil always happy in your job.
My friend Ed left a good IT job to hit the road.

As long as your wife doesn't mind you being away from her and you don't use those truck stop ho's to relieve yourself then have fun!
well, you say you were in the army, here is what my buddy did who was also in the army, he had big muscles, he went to a truck stop and when the guy got done pumping the gas into the rig, he headbutted the guy and threw him in the garbage, then he took the rig to the pay n' spray and did the truck driver mission, then he stole the goods he was supposed to deliver to the customer and sold it on the black market along with his grandmother, he made a handsome living off of this, now i'm not saying that this is your best bet, but it is a start, best of luck to you friend, please don't hunt me down and kill me with a punch to the nose in a sweeping upwards strike, lodging my nose bone into my brain, thanks
work hard... strive harder... dream big...
