My sister is considering going to Mexico for a tubal reversal. Any advice?

She is trying to find someone who can help with a payment plan which I know is probably impossible. Any advice on going to Mexico for the procedure? My sister is considering going to Mexico for a tubal reversal. Any advice?
there are several payment plans like care credit and others like capital one that will finance her. the guy in chappel hill i have heard of he is one of the best, why take chances if something should go wrong , use a really good doctor this is one surgery you dont want your sister to take a chance on, plus this dr berger in carolina has great odds..it is how i plan on going to, also there is dr puttman in fortworth , he is one of the best in the usa, he has been the head of the obgyn the president. i have gone to see him just for female stuff and he is great and plus he talks to you like a real person. My sister is considering going to Mexico for a tubal reversal. Any advice?
uh my advice- don't go to mexico!
I wouldn't trust going to Mexico, try other countries that are well known for medicine. Maybe look into Canada.
Well I am not dissing on the drs in Mexico, (I personally wouldn't go for that reason ), but if she is looking for a tubal reversal center there is one in Chapel Hill, NC, my SIL went there and they are absolutely wonderful people. Google Dr. Berger. Good luck.
I wouldn't personally! They don't have as high of standards as the US... I would keep searching for a reliable dr. in the states... Health isn't something you should skimp on!
Be careful, actually better safe than sorry. Save some money to have it done by a Board Certified doctor in the states. Most other countries do not have the medical means or advances that the US does, so if something goes wrong it may not be able to be taken care of if she goes to Mexico (depending on where...there are some places that are good) Better off staying here, if something does go wrong and she is never able to have children, or worse if she dies she will never get what she wanted...Best bet to save money, there are doctors in the states that will work with you on a payment plan...Not everyone just has thousands of dollars lying around, so they will work with you. Also if she has insurance check into coverage with that, some companies will cover atleast a small part.
i watched whole tv shows about procedures gone wrong in mexico (montel, tyra, etc). it's so common, they've even warned people by having episodes about it on Grey's and House. i agree w/ the person who said, you get what you pay for. i dont know much about that, but i think a tubal reversal would mean she wants kids, and that's a part of your body you cannot risk having something happening to w/o devastating effects.
there is really know way to know the practices, including safety practices of a medical practice outisde the U.S. or how it is regulated.

tubal reversal has an extremely low rate of success. most are not successful. it would be better for your sister to go straight to invitro and save her money. has she even had a consultation with an RE here in the states.

you can't be cheap when it comes to some things.
Remember...you get what you pay for... It's not vert effective. It may be better to retrieve some eggs and do invetro.
