See a doctor would be the best advice. If your eye is so bad infected that it is swollen, you/they need to see a doctor. Your eyes are not something to overlook. You could loose your vision very easily. Other than seeing a doctor I would go to your local drug store and get some kind of over the counter medicated eyedrops, ask the pharmacist what would be best to buy.What is the best advice to give someone with an eye infection which is partially swollen shut?

Don't fool around. These are eyes. See a doctor pronto.
