Help my friend keeps asking for advice for a career option ?

she is seventeen and doesn't know what career to choose, i told her to find out what makes her happy and to go for that except she doesn't know what makes her happy and she told me she wont go to uni/college. i keep giving her advice but she keeps knocking it down.

what should i do?Help my friend keeps asking for advice for a career option ?
let her find her own road! 17 is quite big now and she is totally has wings. but when u let her finds job, just be a good friend and spy on her

to make sure that she doesnt pick a wrong(illegal) job!

good luckHelp my friend keeps asking for advice for a career option ?
She sounds like most 17 year-olds. She keeps asking you because she is hoping you will point her in the right direction.

-She could go to college for a basic degree. A lot of jobs would like employees to have a degree, or at least be enrolled in college, even if it is 1 class at a time.

-She could get a job. Test out the work force, see if she discovers something she would like to do. She is going to figure out a lot of jobs she won't want to do, but might be able to find a few she would like. That will also get her job experience.

It could take her years to figure out what she wants to do. No one says you have to pick your career at 17.

I know at 17 I had no clue. Many years and jobs later, still have no clue. But I know what I DON'T want to do!

Good Luck!
She probably needs some time to think about it..! tell her you cant help her if she doesn't even have a vague idea of what she would be interested in doing in the future...

why wont she go to college/uni?

maybe it would be a good idea for her to be doing her GCSE's/A levels if she hasn't got any.and be thinking about career choices while shes doing them?
She doesn't need your advise. She needs to grow up and figure out her future on her own.
Tell her McDonald's is always hiring for people who don;t know what they want to do in life
