What's the best advice I could give a new user on Yahoo! Answers?

Other than to the obvious sarcastic answer of telling them to get out now while they still have a chance. What's the best advice I could give a new user on Yahoo! Answers?
It depends on what they need.

And other than telling them to get out of here you can also tell them to face the REAL SIDE of this world and be mentally prepared once they got Thumb-downs or reported or getting hate answers. And yeah read the community guidelines thoroughly before doing anything at here. What's the best advice I could give a new user on Yahoo! Answers?
1. Read the rules.

2. No fun, until you are very experienced how it can be included.

3. No games, period.

4. Stay out of P%26amp;S and R%26amp;S until very experienced.

5. Post nothing personal about yourself, no pictures.

6. Ask nothing personal of the users.

7. Stick with school type questions until very experienced.

8. Use complete sentences, good grammar, and good spelling.

9. No text message abbreviations.

10. Give complete answers that help the person with references they can go to.
I am relativity new to Yahoo answers and I love it. I have learned a lot from the discover questions and its really a good way to relax and really is beneficial for a lot of people. Some questions and answers are not really helpful to a large segment of people but the old saying has always been there isn't a bad question,if we don't know we don't know.Just tell people enjoy and learn what you can.
Tell them to study the CG's, in particular the rules about what constitutes a question so we see a lot less of them complaining ';why was my question deleted';

Also tell them to post in the correct category.

Without looking, I will say there are at least 5 questions on this page that are either of the above.
Read the instructions. It's a lot of fun. Patience and time will lead to success. Select your categories from the main page. Scroll down to answer more questions. You'll learn alot of stuff. And finally, some people are just too stupid to use Yahoo Answers!
LOL!! To watch for BIG BROTHER, I mean YAHOO SNITCHES.

:)

BEAM ME UP SCOTTY !!

Also have a sense of humor to some of the answers you might recieve. Don't always think some answers are always fact, after all this the internet.

Best of all learn and enjoy.
Read the Community Guidelines %26amp; the YA 'help' section.
