I have a staph infection that will not go away,once one heals i get another one,i dont have ins. so there for i cant go to the hospital to get medicine.im a single mother and i dont have a job at the moment.so if anyone knows any home remedies that would be great!!! thanks for readingCan anyone give me some advice with staph infections?
simply put....you are colonized with staphylococcus.
Colonization means that the person harbors the organism without causing actual infection.
People who are colonized usually gets it in their nose or pharynx. They develop recurrent skin abscesses when they touch/clean their nose. They will harbor the bacteria in their fingers and they auto-inoculate themselves (i.e. scratching).
Stopping this cycle requires Mupirocin ointment to the nose and bactericidal soap (Phisoderm, phisohex, hibiclenes etc)

if it wont go away it is resitant to antibiotics you are taking, you need difrent ones, also ask your doctor to take a swab to find what it is senistive to so you can be treated approiatly
